The first at Rutgers University Camden was part of a big\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/articles.philly.com\/2014-02-10\/news\/47171481_1_drawings-graphic-novel-maus\">graphic novels art exhibit<\/a>, &#8220;Compulsive Narratives: The Graphic Novel as Confession and Inspiration,&#8221;\u00a0and the second was part of George Washington University&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/composingdisability.tumblr.com\/event\">&#8220;Composing Disability: Diagnosis, Interrupted&#8221;<\/a> symposium, an interesting array of talks on topics including sex and disability, how the DSM is used and misused by lawyers, and the different ways personal stories can be told. I also wandered around on the Mall, and saw an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hirshhorn.si.edu\/collection\/damage-control\/#collection=damage-control\">fascinating exhibit<\/a>\u00a0about creation and destruction\u00a0at the Smithsonian&#8217;s Hirshhorn Art Museum.
