Late last night I checked my email and found a happy if strangely formal note from Kim Thompson of Fantagraphics Books:<\/p>\n
“I am pleased to inform you that I LOVE LED ZEP<\/em> has been nominated for a 2007 Eisner Award in the ‘Best Reality-Based Work’ category.”<\/p>\n He then went on to say I had to keep mum about it until today, when the nominations were officially announced. It’s a big honor – the Eisners<\/a> are kind of like the Oscars of comics.
