So <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hustlerofculture.com\/me_we\/2008\/03\/seattle---frien.html\">Friends of the Nib<\/a> came up with this brilliant last-minute idea: everyone in the group would bring in five to fifteen of our drawings on paper, any medium, to be hung chockablock all over the walls with pushpins, priced to &#8220;fly into your arms&#8221; (less than $50).<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been going through my sketchbooks and folders for odd illustrations and drafts, and have a little stack to take to Racer tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>You should come!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ellenforney.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/drift-promo-lorez.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ellenforney.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/drift-promo-lorez.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"drift-promo-lorez\" width=\"432\" height=\"864\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-822\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m not sure why but Cafe Racer was suddenly left without an art show for this next month.
