My Intro Comics student, Jason Bready, came up with the idea for the second cartoon in my “Going My Way!” series for Choose Your Way Bellevue. (The first was the flying dragon.) What next? You, too, can send a suggestion!

Lustlab of the Week 4/24
The legs don’t really make sense here – like, the right foot is kind of backwards. But I decided I liked it, that it suggests movement, so I left it.

Lesbian couples rarely seek extra partners on Lustlab. Or maybe they only have to answer ads — practically EVERYONE wants to fool around with two women.

Think of it: he’s hogtied in the trunk, with all those mall shoppers chatting and walking by in the parking lot. (“Mindi, I can’t believe these scented candles were 20% off!”) That’s pervy!!

Roller Skates and Pinwheel Hats
I’ve just started a new cartoon series for Choose Your Way Bellevue. It’s part of Bellevue’s Transportation Department, but it’s their Demand Management Program, so it’s all about alternatives to driving your car. Readers write in with their crazy!whimsical! ways to get around, and I make a cartoon out of one of them.
You want me to draw your idea? Write in!
Sound Transit ‘N’ Me
I’ll be doing the public art for the Sound Transit tunnel from the west entrance by SCCC under Broadway, to the station. Yay! I’m not sure what art I’m going to do yet but I’ll come up with something with my signature feel-good flair. “Keep it edgy!” my friends remind me. But will Big Fuckin’ Hands or naked ladies pass through the committee processes??
(Here is a “sample of my public work” for my Sound Transit interview, courtesy of Photoshop.)

The idea here is that the basement door is cracked open, and a dark shadow spills out. (Ooh, creepy.) I don’t think I did justice to this guy’s fierce, raucous prison fantasy – this looks kind of sad and lonely. But still: creepy! And I bet this guy would agree that sometimes, “creepy” will do.
